Frequently Asked Questions – Bed Manufacturing Machinery
Q: Is this a business opportunity or a going concern?
A: No, not at all. Super important to know: this is NOT a business opportunity, franchise, or going concern under South African law.
We manufacture and supply equipment only — nothing more.
No royalties, no monthly fees.
Just awesome, powerful, professional machines built to make beds — not a business package.

Q: How much space do I need for this?
A: Not much at all — fantastic news! A double-garage is usually perfect.
The machine is roughly the size of a king-size bed, so you don’t need a factory or warehouse.
Just ensure your space is safe, level, and has proper power access.

Q: Is the machine 3-phase?
A: Nope — and that’s part of the awesomeness!
Most African regions don’t have stable 3-phase supply, so we built our machines to be single-phase, plug-and-play, and super convenient.
Bonus: They can even run on a generator (subject to correct generator sizing). Power supply suitability remains the customer’s responsibility.

Q: How durable is the machine?
A: Extremely durable — these beasts are built to conquer African production conditions.
Heavy-duty steel frames, industrial components, and tough engineering give you long-term reliability.
Durability may vary based on proper use, maintenance, and operating conditions.

Q: Do you manufacture the machines or import them?
A: We proudly manufacture everything locally in South Africa.
Our Intelligent Core, Edge, Vision, Ultra Series — and our flagship Ultra range — are all designed and produced by our own team with 35+ years of experience.
Local build = stronger, more stable, and perfectly suited for African conditions.

Q: What sizes can your machines make?
A: Almost anything you can imagine!
Small demo beds, baby beds, pet beds, sleeper-cab beds, caravan beds, foam beds, inner-spring beds, box springs, single, three-quarter, double, queen, king, extended sizes…
Plus bunk mattress beds, canopy beds, folding foam beds, cabin beds, cot mattresses, sofa mattresses, foam mattresses, pillowcases and more.
Output always depends on your material quality and operator skill.

Q: Are your machines difficult to install and set up?
A: Not at all! They’re designed as plug-and-play with laser-cut accuracy. Installation is quick and easy.
We also use an independent contractor installer (not an employee), so installation dates and availability may vary.

Q: How frequently are parts available if anything happens?
A: We manufacture most parts in-house, so availability is generally excellent.
All machines come with a return-to-base warranty, subject to our terms.
Parts availability may depend on stock at the time, but we aim to reduce downtime as much as possible.

Q: How big is the bed market?
A: Huge! Everyone sleeps on a bed — the demand is constant and universal.
According to IMARC Research (South Africa Mattress Market Overview 2024–2033): https://www.imarcgroup.com/south-africa-mattress-market:
- Market size in 2024: USD 287.70 million
- Projected market by 2033: USD 576.08 million
- Expected growth rate (CAGR): 7.19%
This data is for mattresses —it shows a healthy, growing industry.
Note: This does not guarantee profit or market access; it’s industry analysis only.

Q: What makes your machines different?
A: They’re built stronger, thicker, tougher and more durable than high-volume imports.
Designed specifically for African environments.

Q: Do you offer installation and training?
A: Yes — through our independent contractor (not an employee). They install machines, train staff, and provide setup guidance.
Their services are separate from machine manufacturing and are not employees of our company. We are not liable for contractor delays.

Q: How reliable are your machines?
A: Very reliable! Engineered for long hours, low maintenance, and tough production cycles.
Reliability depends on correct usage, maintenance, and material quality.

Q: Do you provide after-sales support?
A: Yes — we offer full support, technical help, phone assistance, and access to spare parts.
Support is for the machinery only — not business operations or customer acquisition.

Q: Can your machines handle local materials?
A: Totally! They work with locally sourced and imported foam, fabrics, springs, and frames — as long as materials meet manufacturing standards.

Q: Are spare parts available locally?
A: Yes — we manufacture most parts locally and keep essential components in stock.
Availability may depend on stock levels and production schedules.

Q: Do you offer warranties?
A: Yes — all machines include a standard return-to-base warranty.
Warranty exclusions include misuse, operator error, electrical surges, and unauthorized modification.

Q: Can you customize machines for my production needs?
A: Yes! We can tailor machines or full production setups. Custom builds may impact lead time and pricing. Machines are made to order specifically.

Q: Do your machines save energy?
A: Yes — they are designed to be energy-efficient. Actual savings depend on how the machine is used.

Q: Are your machines suitable for beginners?
A: Definitely! Many first-time manufacturers use our machines successfully. Training covers machine use only.

Q: Can I see the machines before buying?
A: Yes — visit our showroom or request a live demo (subject to availability).

Q: Do you help with setting up a full production line?
A: Yes — our independent contractor can assist with layout planning and setup.
We do not offer business-model planning.

Q: What types of beds can your machines produce?
A: Foam, spring, hybrid, orthopedic, and many more, depending on your materials and operator skill.

Q: Do your machines come with manuals?
A: Yes — all machines include manuals and operating guides.

Q: Can I upgrade my machines later?
A: Yes — our systems are modular and upgradable.

Q: How do I place an order?
A: Contact our sales team for quotes, timelines, production slots, and payment terms.

Q: Do you supply customers?
A: No — we do not supply customers, clients, contracts, or guaranteed sales leads.
We only manufacture and supply the equipment, not the business.
Finding customers, marketing your products, and generating sales remain 100% the buyer’s responsibility.
